The Capital Divers Association is celebrating its 30th year in 2002.
It sponsors monthly program meetings with topics ranging from local
dive opportunities to wreck diving seminars to dive safety. It's membership
consists of experienced and novice divers alike. The dive season runs
from April through October and features a wide range of degrees of difficulty
from novice wreck and quarry dives to more advanced wreck dives. Most
of our quarry diving is done within three hours drive of the metro DC
area and are usually centered around family events. Our ocean dives
are usually on the wrecks off the North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland
and Delaware coasts. Membership is $20.00 per year plus a $5.00 initiation
fee for new members. Benefits of membership include a monthly newsletter,
group rates for club dives and some expenses for speakers and special
activities.
If you are
a club member or know of a club not listed, please
let us know. Thanks.
