Our club is a congenial mix of cold-water and warm-water divers and non-divers.
Our membership is comprised of highly experienced, seasoned divers and new, highly motivated, novice divers. We blend the thrill of diving with the fun of social activities. Annually we have our potluck/equipment swap in the spring and in the fall we have a pumpkin carving dive contest and potluck. Throughout the year we follow a schedule of dives and dive activities intermingled with social activities, culminating in our annual awards banquet each December.
Our membership is $30 annually (for a single person or a family residing at the same address), and is open to divers and non-divers alike. We ask you to complete a one page application and supply a copy of your c-card (if you are a diver).
The Flipper is our club's publication which contains various articles of interest to divers and non-divers, along with notes from our President, our dive schedule and occassionally schedules and event listings from other clubs and organizations. The cost of the Flipper is included in your membership fee.
Throughout the year we sponsor presentations ranging from our annual "Dolphins vs. Sharks Game Show" to reknowned speakers such as Klaus Lindemann and Dave Trotter to name only a few.
Please stop by and visit us, the third Wednesday of the month (with the exception of December), at 7:30 PM in the Farmington Hills Library Auditorium (lower level). The library is located just south of 12 Mile Road, between Orchard Lake and Farmington Roads in Farmington Hills (turn south at the light for the Post Office). We hope to see you there.

The MICHIGAN SEA SNOOPERS are a continually growing group of divers in Southeast Lower Michigan who can't get enough of being underwater. Our club has been around since the 1970's promoting the adventure and safety of diving in Michigan's waters, as well as other locations throughout the US.

The benefits of belonging to a club such as ours are numerous, from meeting fellow active divers in the area to learning new and exciting dive sites. We place great emphasis on diving safety, with safety topics for discussion every month at our meetings, and oxygen available at all club sponsored events. The experience levels of our members are varied, from those who just obtained their open water certification to advanced technical divers. Therefore everyone has something to contribute in experience and knowledge.
Our meetings:

We meet the first TUESDAY of every month (unless otherwise pre-arranged) at 7:30 PM. The meeting location rotates between several members houses, but all are typically in the Northern Detroit Suburb area (ie. Royal Oak, Clinton Township, Utica, etc). It is best to email us to find out where the next meeting is. GUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!
