Caicos Adventures is one of the oldest dive operations on Providenciales (Provo). We have prospered by focusing on excellence in quality, service, ambiance and atmosphere. We are also the only dive operation in Provo that specializes in diving and snorkeling at West Caicos. This is simply because West Caicos offers the best diving in the area. We also arrange day trips to French Cay, Molasses Reef, Sandbore Channel and Southwest Reef especially during "whale watching season" and when the nurse sharks mate. West Caicos
This uninhabited island is situated on the west side of Provo, about 45 minutes from the Caicos Adventures dock. There is

six miles of protected leeward side wall, approximately 100-150 yards from shore with more than 2 dozen dive sites. The wall starts from 35-45 feet and drops to approximately 6,000 feet. You will see incredible sponges, coral formations, large grouper, Caribbean reef fish and stingrays. There are great spots to encounter large pelagic such as reef sharks, spotted eagle rays and turtles. On some occasions you will see manta rays and hammerheads.

The diving conditions are excellent for all levels and the visibility is rarely less than 100 feet. We offer 2 or 3 tank daily trips as well as night dives.

During the interval we always provide a tasty lunch, either served on the beach or in one of the beautiful coves.You can relax and enjoy the tranquility, or if you are feeling energetic you can explore the island and visit an 1800's plantation ghost town or Lake Catherine in the middle of the island. The snorkeling on the reef and near the shore provides more opportunities to enjoy the variety of marine life in the warm, clear water.

French Cay
We arrange trips to this tiny Cay that was once used as a hideaway for pirates. It is now a bird sanctuary and located 50 minutes from our dock across the Caicos Bank. The wall runs east-west and therefore gets the sunlight all day resulting in especially large coral and sponges. The fish life is abundant and with frequent sightings of eagle rays, sharks and occasionally manta rays and hammerheads.

The most exciting time to dive at French Cay is during the first three months of the year when the humpback whales visit the area. Sightings are frequent and you could be lucky enough to dive with these massive yet graceful mammals.

Nurse sharks frequent the area during their mating season, normally from July to September, providing another great reason to visit this dive site.

The visibility ranges from 60 -100+ feet but we only dive this area on calm days, ensuring good visibility. We offer 2 or 3 tank day trips and as always lunch and refreshments are provided on every trip. During the interval there are opportunities to snorkel, explore the reef and visit the bird sanctuary.

Molasses Reef, Sandbore Channel and Southwest Reef

The visibility is excellent and 2 or 3 tank trips are available. Lunch is served on the boat sometimes on the beach. Special snorkeling or beach combing trips can be arranged.

It is wonderful to dive in clear,turquoise water with visibility of 100 feet or more and temperatures between 75°F and 85°F! There are an abundance of reef fish and beautiful coral. Sharks, eagle rays and manta rays are all residents of these waters and JoJo the dolphin is often close by. We arrange 3 tank dives on request.

Caicos Adventures offers a FRENCH CAY snorkeling and exploration cruise. JOIN US FOR OUR WEEKLY TRIP! Snorkel in the crystal clear, warm turquoise waters with plenty of tropical fish and beautiful coral. Spend some time exploring the CAY where the infamous pirates lay in wait for their passing prey. And of course we don't forget the food and drink! We prepare a BBQ lunch for you to enjoy on the deserted beach along with soft drinks, water, wine, beer and rum punch. A full day of fun the entire family can enjoy!

This is Philippe "Fifi" Kunz, the owner and operator. Fifi is an energetic Frenchman with years of world wide diving experience (since '78) as well as many years in the service industry. He loves to dive and will more than likely be on the trip with you.

Fifi always manages to see more than anyone else, so dive with him and you will be amazed at what he will show you. When Fifi is not out diving you will often find him helping out in the dive shop.
